Meet Dr. Stefanie Logue, OTD, OTR/L

As a certified NBCOT and North Carolina licensed Occupational Therapist (OT), I would like to welcome you to SimplyOT and introduce myself. In 2007, I earned my Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy from Chatham University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Before starting my own practice, I spent eighteen years providing occupational therapy services in many different care settings, including an inpatient acute care/rehabilitation hospital, outpatient pediatric clinics, NICU, and early intervention natural environments.

It has been a pleasure to help hundreds of children over the years succeed in meeting their daily occupations. I use a family-centered approach in order to best support your child’s development and progress. My OT sessions are designed individually to support each child through developmental wellness, following a sensory processing model, and increasing strength and endurance. Using this evidence has provided children with the support they need to participate fully in their daily activities at home, school and in their communities.

Passion, knowledge, and support for families and professionals is fundamental to my success as a pediatric occupational therapist. Supporting children through play to be successful by coaching parents, teachers, school administrators, etc. is essential to child development and wellness.

In my free time, you can find me outside hiking, spending time at the beach with my husband and three children, or reading a book in the sunshine.  Health and fitness are a huge part of my daily life, so I also enjoy working out at the gym and playing tennis.
